From Classroom to Conversation: Turning a Grade 11 Math Lesson into Real Life Stories
It all started with a simple question in a Grade 11 math class: “How do we really use quadratic equations outside the classroom?” For many students, math feels like numbers and formulas divorced from reality. But for our podcast team, that question became the seed for a new episode.
The process began with a brainstorming session. We gathered our hosts, a math teacher with over a decade of classroom experience, and a software engineer who uses algebra daily in coding simulations. The goal was to transform abstract equations into stories people could relate to.
